Plain letters are shipped without any mounting hardware. Recommended by dimensionalLetters.com for customers that will be installing their own two-sided foam tape or just using silicone to attach to project. |

Studs are metal threaded posts on the rear of the letters. Specify if studs need to be in line for brick or block wall mortar joints. When installed, studs typically extend approx. 1-1/2"-2" from the back of the letters. (Brick: 2-5/8" on center; Block: 8" on center) |

This type of mounting is recommended by dimensionalLetters because the installation of the 1/2" Plastic letters requires only holes to be drilled for the top half of the letter. |

Strips of 3M-VHB (Very High Bond acrylic foam closed cell double-coated pressure sensitive adhesive tape) tape are placed strategically on the back of the 1/2 inch dimensional wall letters. Follow 3M recommendations for use. Not suitable for all mounting surfaces. surface preparation |

This new smaller stud block is only 1/4" OD and threaded to receive a 6-32 (1/8" diameter) stud. Great option for thin gauge, thin stroke letters that need to be mounted flush to the surface. |
