We even offer different grades of some metals depending on the environment of the installation. Gemini flat cut metal letters are quality, pure metal letters at a cost-effective price. The Material: Gemini offers flat cut metal letters in five major metals: Aluminum, Bronze, Brass, Copper and Stainless Steel. Gemini uses alloys of each of these metals that are lead and mercury free. Our environment and our Gemini Metal Letters team is much better off, even though it makes cutting, finishing, and polishing of the letters more difficult. Aluminum: Alloys: Gemini uses alloy #5052 which offers good cutting, welding and corrosion resistance. It is excellent for anodizing, and has a superior hardness rating of H32. Available in 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" & 1/2". Bronze: Bronze Alloy: Flat Cut Bronze uses alloy C22000; 90% copper and 10% zinc – 0% Lead. This alloy is used for all bronze finishes including natural satin, patina, polished and oxidized. Available in thicknesses of 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" & 1/2". Brass: Flat Cut Brass letters use C46400; 60% Copper, 39.25% Zinc and .75% Tin – and Muntz metal C280; 61% Copper and 39% Zinc – 0% Lead. Available in Natural Satin, Polished Oxidized and Dark Oxidized. Available in thicknesses of 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2 & 3/4". Copper: Sheet copper alloy C11000 is used because it offers good cutting, welding and corrosion resistance. Available in thicknesses of 1/8", 1/4" & 3/8". Cor-Ten® Steel: By its very nature, will vary from letter to letter and order to order. Cor-ten® Steel finishes may “bleed” onto the installation surface when installed outside. Available in thicknesses of 1/8" & 1/4". Stainless Steel: Available in two grades: Alloy C304: Stainless Steel alloy C304 offers some corrosion resistance and Alloy 316: Stainless Steel alloy 316 offers better corrosion and tarnishing resistance for marine and harsh environments. Available in thicknesses of 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" & 1/2". Visit us on our Contact Us page today to request a free quote and a sample so you can see just how perfect this product really is.
